The Good Food Company…. I guess it stands for good food that you enjoy with good company!
TGFC is one of those joints… yes those… that are famous and deserve to be so. TGFC is located in Vile Parle east, at walking distance from the station. It is a small space, with open seating….not fancy, just comfortable! They serve some lip-smacking food that is really pocket-friendly.
What have I tried here? Almost everything! And here is why :
Chilli Cheesy Fries : Look at those fries…just look at them! Covered in delicious cheese sauce and chilli flakes! Delicious. Crispy and mouth watering!
Spinach Corn Cheese Toast : Perfect combination of cheese and spinach..none overshadowing the others flavour… yummy!
Paneer Makhni Pizza : A lip-smacking thin crust pizza, with loads of cheese and soft, succulent pieces of paneer (cottage cheese) that you can’t help but pick out and devour even before you bite into the pizza! This one is a must have!!
Pasta Alfredo and Pasta in TGFC Sauce , two delicious pasta options, one in white sauce and the other in a mildly spicy TGFC special sauce. Both cheesy and delectable.
Cheesy Fries Paratha Wrap : Cheesy fries rolled up with a little more cheese sauce and chilli flakes in pita bread. Never thought such a combo can taste so good. Go for this one if you like wraps and do not mind experimenting a little.
The Mexican Burger was decent too. Soft buns, with lots of vegetables and a black bean-based patty inside. Not much to write home about but not very bad either.
The beverages here are skippable. Cold Coffee and Iced Chocolate taste pretty much the same, very liquidy. Nimbu Pani is a decent option, they don’t get that one wrong.
Overall Experience: Good. Just like their name. Except for the average beverages, the food here is really good.
Ambience : At a place like this, this is good. It is clean and seating is available.
Service : It is a self-service outlet. The staff is friendly.
The Battle: Them fries. They are just finger licking good. I could just have all of them at once and not complain!
